3D-M will provide its unique TLS-technology for separating crystalline solar cells with outstanding quality to the project consortium. In the frame of WP3, 3D-M will support the process development at F-ISE with the extensive experience in half cell cutting of different types of crystalline solar cells. 3D-M will cut SHJ and IBC cells into half cells for initial process evaluation as well as process development for optimization.
The main task of 3D-M in the frame of WP4 is to develop and deliver to AMAT a new bi-directional TLS head for cutting of cell stripes. This new equipment will be integrated into the AMAT pilot shingling tool. Another task in frame of WP4 is the test and optimization of the TLS dicing process for IBC cell cutting as well as the discussion of new concepts for the TLS process for the Valoe pilot tool.
